Biography

Wang Zhongshuai, MD, graduated from Peking Union Medical College in 2022 with a doctoral degree in Dermatology and Venereology. During his doctoral studies, he was mainly engaged in research on the genetic and immunological mechanisms of acne inversa. After graduation, he has been engaged in clinical practice in cosmetic dermatology. From 2015 to 2018, he completed standardized residency training at Peking Union Medical College Hospital and was named an Outstanding Resident of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He has participated in projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Innovation Engineering Program, and has published more than ten papers in SCI-indexed and core journals. He participated in the translation of Bolognia Dermatology, 4th Edition, and in the compilation of PUMC Clinical Dermatopathology. He was invited to record popular science videos for the Science and Education Channel of CCTV.com.
